individual drawings or art dumps?

Posted by scabnsfw - 1 day ago

Just a little thought I had.

Should I start posting my art individually, or stick with art dumps?

I’ve been thinking about this for a little, and I’m not really sure which is better.

With art dumps, I can share everything at once, which is nice. But there's a limit of 10 images per post. So if I draw more than 10 pieces in a month, I have to leave some out, like alts or doodles, so I can fit the more complete pieces.

Hashtags are also limited to 12 per post, so I have to be selective there too.

Now, with individual posts. They would let me upload more frequently and give each piece more attention. I can use more specific hashtags and include alts if the artwork has any. The only real downside is that I often forget I even have a Newgrounds account, so most of the time I’d forget to post at all.

In a nutshell:
If you think nobody would look at your works individually, upload them as art dumps.
Otherwise, upload them individually.

They both get the same amount of views, so I don’t know..
